Given the efforts in rendering food kit distribution to the extent of 1.58 million equivalent during covid 19 related lock down phase (Apr 20- May 20), Mr. Irfan Shaikh was privileged with a commendation card with “Tank You Lapel Button” from the office of HE Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed (Government of Dubai).
3. Community Service; On 17 Jun 22, we, Office Connect together with a charitable association viz, MSS extended salutation-service to Nurses Community at Aster Hospital, Al Quosais, Dubai as part of expressing our solidarity for their commendable service to society. There, we distributed various giveaways.

- Food Kit Distribution in UAE
The magnitude of people affected by the COVID-19 virus situation in Apr 2020 was HUGE – loss of jobs and income has led a few people in UAE, not having money for three square meals in the day. Some of these are families with new born babies as well as old and sick parents. Through close affiliation with stalwarts of fellow philanthropists,Mr Siddique Mellow Trading who inspired & Supported Office Connect Goods Wholesalers LLC rendered ration kit distributions.
We have joined hands with 3 to 4 other charitable organizations including CCIA (Child Care & Islamic Affairs), MSS, KMCC for the food distribution. Also, together with Mellow Trading, principal Ration provider, Office Connect has spearheaded the distribution of food. Then we continued such measures:

- Employee Retention
Even in the midst of “COVID-19 lockdown” in 2020, despite economic slow-down, the Management has retained its human resources without any salary reduction.
- Life Long Support to Ex-Employee
In Oct 2021, one of our key employees (hailing from Pakistan) has been diagnosed with Cancer infection, whereby the Management has rendered all the support for his all-out treatment plan (including chemotherapy) at his home country. All the more, the Management has committed uninterrupted and ever-lasting monetary support to
him and his family in terms of his last drawn salary. So far, we continued our selfless commitment by disbursing his salary and other monetary supplementary support for the treatment, irrespective of the fact that he is not working with us any longer. Also, medical insurance related disbursements have been ensured for fulfilling his chemo related expenditure till date.
- Charity beyond borders
For the past three years, Office Connect Group keeps rendering monetary support to most needy people (for 10 families) across subcontinent on monthly cycle. On an average it’s worth AED 33,000 per annum. On a fixed date, by mid of every month these giveaways are fulfilled to look after the needs of beneficiaries in terms of various needs of educational support to children, medical treatment for life-threatening diseases and survival. Of course, this monetary support is rendered partly out of own
employees’ contribution and out of substantial support and benevolence of a few philanthropists in UAE.
- Daily Food Distribution in India
On daily basis, noon meal is served amongst 150 to 200 members hailing in the community of Andheri West, Versova, Mumbai, India. Its financial commitment for four Sundays in any given month is being fully fulfilled by the Group Managing partner of Office Connect Group.
